TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethanes) Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer rubber, typically divided into polyester and polyether types, offers a broad hardness range (60HA-85HD), exceptional wear resistance, oil resistance, transparency, and elasticity. TPU finds extensive applications in everyday items, sporting goods, toys, decorative materials, and more. Halogen-free flame-retardant TPU can substitute soft PVC to meet environmental standards across increasing fields. As an elastomer, its vitrification temperature is below room temperature, elongation at break exceeds 50%, and it exhibits superior recovery post-deformation. Polyurethane elastomer, a unique elastomer category, boasts a wide hardness and performance range, positioning it between rubber and plastic. With thermal plasticity and minimal chemical crosslinking, TPU molecules are primarily linear with some physical crosslinking.

 

TPU's outstanding performance allows for diverse applications. Its excellent wear resistance makes it ideal for shoe soles, belts, conveyor belts, and other wear-resistant materials.
