 1.Description

1) It is white flaky or lumpish. It is an important chemical raw material and additive, and widely used in rubber, plastics, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemical auxiliary agent industries etc.

2) It is one of the useful types of saturated fatty acids that comes from many animal and vegetable fats and oils. It is a waxy solid, and its chemical formula is CH₃(CH₂)₁₆COOH. It's name comes from the Greek word-stear, which means tallow. Its IUPAC name is octadecanoic acid. Stearic acid is prepared by treating animal fat with water at a high pressure and temperature.

3) It can also be obtained from the hydrogenation of vegetable oils. Common stearic acid is actually a mix of stearic acid and palmitic acid, although purified stearic acid is available separately.

 3.Usage  

Stearic acid is useful as an ingredient in making candles, soaps, and cosmetics and for softening rubber.

Mainly used for the production of stearic acid salts:

Widely used system for cosmetics, plastic cold-resistant plasticizer, release agent, stabilizer, surfactants, rubber vulcanization accelerator, waterproof agent, polishing agent, metal soap, metal mineral flotation agent, softeners, pharmaceuticals, and other organic chemicals.
In addition, oil-soluble pigments can be used as solvents, crayons transfer slip agent, waxed paper lighting agent, stearic acid glyceride emulsifier, etc.

 

 4.Package

25kg woven bag and inside the plastic bags must be sutured lining.

Materials must be covered to avoid the sun, rain, heat, light carrying, light place.
