ApplicationsWhen used in excess, Zinc Stearate can decompose PVC or lead to black spots. It converts to white zinc sulphide when it absorbs sulfide from the air, which can adversely affect its primary stainability. Therefore, it is never used independently in PVC products but is always combined with other substances.
